Newest Stud Dog!
Finley was selected to be a stud dog for Recherche Goldens because of his incredible looks. When he was a young puppy, he has a thick white coat and an incredibly blocky head. We only hoped he would look as good as an adult as he did as a pup…and he did. Finley is one of the best looking young adults we have ever seen. He is the largest boy we have ever owned. He is solid! He has a huge blocky head and is thick. He weighs 80-85 lbs and is absolutely regal. He competes with Amos only as the best looking stud dog in America. He comes from the same incredible breeder we got our other stud dogs from.
Finley’s personality is slightly outgoing, slightly dependent and loving. He’s a very happy boy and has never shown any signs of aggression even though he’s a big boy. He loves to snuggle and is easy going, playful and affectionate. He’s very well behaved and has not given us any issues of digging, chewing, barking, fighting, potty training issues or more. He’s the perfect behaved English Golden! He loves everyone and is very sweet.
Finley has his final BVA hip and elbow score (BVA 6:7) This is equivalent to an OFA “Good” hip rating (average Golden has a score of 9:9!). His elbows were rated 0:0 by the BVA which is the best score possible. He also has been checked by an ophthalmologist and a veterinarian and has been cleared with OFA for his heart and with his eyes. Finley has been DNA Profiled by the AKC and is dual registered with ACHR (Romania Kennel Club) and the AKC.
We are grateful to Andreea Cletiu for entrusting us with this unbelievable stud. He has one of the most unique pedigrees of any dog we own. His father is the 2013 World Champion Bonett Bride Energy Source (aka Diesel). His mother is also an incredible champion and in his pedigree you will find some of the World’s Best Golden Retrievers to have ever lived including 2001 World Champion Paudell Pure Passion, Real McCoy of Glen Sheallag, and the only 3 Time World Champion 1991, 1992 & 1993 Standfast Angus.
