Andreea Cletiu has given us the best stud dogs in the US and Eli is no exception. What makes Eli unique is 3 things. First is his personality. Eli is very confident and fearless. English Goldens in general are a very calm and naturally timid breed. If there is one issue we run into consistently it’s working with Goldens that can be shy or timid…especially between 6-12 months of age. Eli has never had a fear period. He’s always been confident and fearless. He’s not hyper but he’s outgoing and very confident making him exceptionally easy to train. The second thing that makes him unique is his looks. He has an exceptionally blocky head and solid thick white coat. He’s not cream but white. He also has one of the blockiest heads and is one of our bigger boys weighing in at 80 lbs. Thirdly are his health clearances. He scored in the top 4% of Golden Retrievers with his hip, elbow, eye and heart clearances. He also is the only stud dog we own and only the second stud dog we know of that is Ichthyosis clear. His puppies can never get dandruff.
Again, Eli has his final BVA hip and elbow score (BVA 4:5) This is equivalent to an OFA “Excellent/Good” hip rating (average Golden has a score of 9:9!). His elbows were rated 0:0 by the BVA which is the best score possible. He also has been checked by an ophthalmologist and a veterinarian and has been cleared with OFA for his heart and with his eyes. Eli has been DNA Profiled by the AKC and is dual registered with ACHR (Romania Kennel Club) and the AKC.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text el_class=”section-bar”]Eli’s Pedigree[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]What makes Eli’s pedigree unique is his father Santi. His father Santi, from Spain, has a large number of true English show champions in his line. There are very few stud dogs with this incredible line. On his mother’s side, he’s very closely related to Amos and Aspen. His grandfather is 2006 World Champion Moondust Masterpiece.
